Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Hathrise collects when you use the Growth Assessment, why we collect it, how we use and store it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to give you a useful Growth Snapshot and to follow up about your results.

When you take the Growth Assessment, we collect:

• the industry you select and, optionally, your business name;
• your answers to the assessment questions;
• your first name and business email address;
• your mobile phone number, only if you choose to provide it (it is optional); and
• your preferred method of contact (email, phone, or either).

We also store a one-way hashed record associated with your consent so we can evidence that consent without keeping your raw IP address.

• To generate and deliver your personalized Growth Snapshot.
• To communicate with you about your submitted results and, if you request one, to arrange a complimentary strategy session.
• To operate, secure, and improve the assessment.

Your answers are analyzed automatically by our assessment engine to calculate your results and produce the Snapshot. This analysis generates informational guidance; we do not use it to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Your assessment responses and results are stored in our database so your Snapshot can be delivered and retrieved. Your results are saved in a fixed form so the Snapshot you received does not change if our assessment methodology later evolves.

We use trusted providers to operate the service, who process information on our behalf:

• Vercel — application hosting;
• Neon — database hosting; and
• Resend — sending transactional email (such as your Snapshot and confirmations).

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

In-progress assessments that are not completed are kept for up to 30 days after your last activity; after that they are marked abandoned and the personal details associated with them are removed.

Completed assessments and associated contact information are kept for up to 24 months, unless you ask us to remove them sooner or a future published policy sets a different period. We do not keep your personal information indefinitely.

You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or anonymize the information associated with your assessment by emailing us. On an anonymization request, we remove your personal details while retaining de-identified results for analysis.

To keep your progress, your browser stores your in-progress answers locally so an accidental refresh does not lose your work. We also use a secure, HTTP-only cookie to let you resume a saved draft and, for administrators, to maintain a secure session. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or device fingerprinting.

We protect your information using encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Growth Assessment is intended for businesses and is not directed to children.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date shown above.
